A Warehouse and a Vapour Trail

Unfortunately I have suffered some disbelief with this image. Its to do with the plane and its vapour trail, some people believe that it is a result of some digital manipulation, I can understand that.
I guess this is what can happen in today's digital age, regardless.

I can sincerely assure you guys though, that this is real and no fakery has been used. This is exactly what I saw on the day. It was a case of being in the right place at the right time.

The building is a warehouse, quite a nice one at that really, and that plane was heading east.

Hi Paul,

Good catch. Sometimes these contrails (condensation trails) do add something to the image. The (almost parallel) alignment was helpful in this case. It's a good thing you didn't edit it out, it really adds 'dynamics' to the image.

Cheers,
Bart

I too like these images and those of Nicolas that follow! I've taken the brash liberty of cropping your images, Nicolas, to meet the exhibiting feel of Paul's shot. Then they work as a series!

I think it works just fine. The tail's squiggle is a nice contrast to all the straight lines. Impressive shot of the warehouse.

Thanks, all.

Asher, your crop of Nicolas's 'Launch 2' is a great improvement, I like it. Also, I feel it'd work so much better in B&W too.
