These, Paul, are architectural medallions! They are so agreeable and entertaining I'd want to follow this up with more. I hope you can do this. With your penchant for look at things from interesting sharp angles, I'd wonder how far you might go with this new subject.

Asher, the bark is like this all the way around of course, but its a matter of looking for a pleasing composition of pattern within it all.
