Now You Lay Me Down to Sleep

Traditional version:
Now you lay me down to sleep;
I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take.

Yes,

She does look like a cherub and utterly precious but I'd still love a little more light.

Traditional version:

Now you lay me down to sleep;
I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take.

Asher's version

Now I won't count the sheep
that walk towards the butcher's keep,
I won't myself go to sleep,
Instead I pray you sir, this child of grace,
Keep alive, for what it's worth
Safe in place on planet earth!

Charlotte...She indeed is a cherub and utterly precious.

Now I won't count the sheep
that walk towards the butcher's keep,
I won't myself go to sleep,
Instead I pray you sir, this child of grace,
Keep alive, for what it's worth
Safe in place on planet earth!

to which I might add...

' with her birth
has she brought the mirth
on this our planet earth
if people only knew this worth'

Regards.
