Fahim,

Putting aside my aversion and excitement t what filters can do, I must admit I like what I see. It's the ideas in your head that interest me and the realization that it's never too late to be experimenting with the forms of things. Of course, you do also have a lovely subject. Having that, in one's pictures, a shorthand for elegance, beauty, loyalty, perseverance and love of family, all in the form one one woman, is quite simply special. Others might not know as much and they would just like the picture and might call it, "nice!".

My initial thoughts were similar. I did not like it at first glance simply because I am not much of a fan of 'digital painting' filters and such. I then made an attempt to take myself out of the viewing experience and it dawned on me that I do in fact like the concept, combining the digital painting with 'real' objects.

I wonder how it would differ if you were to make an actual print of the digitally painted lady photographed it that way instead of digitally placing the picture into the scene.
