In trying out the wonderful D2X a week back, I was puzzled why the RAW files, NEF's they call them, wouldn't open. I wasted much time thinking my CF cards were corrupted.

Since then a number of people who wanted to have a go at processing an image of a Praying Mantis I had posted, wrote asking about plugin.

I realize that this is an issue with a lot of new cameras.

In order to open certain files, including Nikon D2X, at least the RAW plugin v. 3.5 is needed.

Now you might decide to use the 3.6 Plugin a beta release from Adobe and the free DNG converter
