Hello Klaus,

I wonder whether the insects are able to discriminate between different wavelengths in the UV range. After all, a lot of molecules have specific peaks of high absorption. IOW, is it possible that insects see in multicolor images, not monochrome as shown here.

I know with butterflies you show several false colors, but what's the background for such presentations.
