Of course, the flowers are so perfectly imaged but they are part of a composed photograph and rise above merely celebrating the flower as the focus for us. The backgrounds have equal importance despite being much softer and make the pictures so charming.

So beautiful and I'm so envious that spring has arrived for you while here we have still have several feet of snow and the weather predictions say we will have a very late spring. At least I can enjoy your wonderful flowers in the meantime.

I'm also surprised that it includes a blue iris that is very similar to the 'fleur de lys' that normally is in bloom on the 24th of June when we celebrate 'St-Jean', here in Quebec.
