Thanks for sharing this image. Could you give some background. How it came to be taken and what is your thinking about the picture and the girl. Street, by chance, someone you know, purpose, no purpose, finished the way it is and cropped that way. It would be nice to know more.

Who is she and what does this mean to you or her?

She is a distant relative of my wife. I took several pictures of her because I thought she had a interesting/beautiful look. This one was taken when I shot film (Fuji Superia 200) and was scanned to produce a digital file. I cropped the head a little tight because I though she had a great expression (a little shy). I also like the connection between the viewer and the eyes.

Yes, she's a delightful and engaging young person. What is she going to do in life? How did you treat the file after scanning. Did you blur?
