Okay so I'll say HI now.

Hi!

I'm Zach Jacob, a budding photographer here in the shadow of the Wasatch Mountains. I've done a few friend/family weddings (and even got hired by non-friend/families a couple times), and I love taking pictures of my family. I shoot a Canon D10 with various lenses. I'm a firm believer that it's not the camera that takes the picture, it's the photographer behind the camera. So whereas I may not have the coolest/latest/greatest body or glass, I take some cool pictures with it, I think. My website is currently dedicated to the wedding crowd, but I like to photograph anything.

Anywho, just dropping in to say "Hey!"

Zach,

So pleased you are getting to the position to just wade in.

Here we want to relax and have fun and also to share so that our pictures carry more ideas, force and power to capture the viewer. Critique here may not be fair oe always worthwhile. However it does represent what some people who care might think.

I'd suggest picking a picture that means a lot tou you and post it giving the context and see what happens. If you give a title, how the subject was found, the goal of the image, then the feedback might become relevent.

Some comments might be ill-informed and even foolish. However, I find this process works when on can sift.

So let's see some images!

Asher
