Canon 5D's for $1099?

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a good place on line to buy a Canon 5D? I keep seeing these online stores selling them for $1099 and even less. Is any of them trustworthy?

I can assure you, 100% of all those ads which promise a new 5D for $1099 or less are false.
They either want to trap you into buying other equipment for much higher prices or they are scammers, con artists, credit card info thiefs, etc. Don't give in to temptation, that is what they are after.

What do you think when a reputable company like B&H currently offers the 5d body for US$ 2649.95, or Adorama offers it for US$ 2629.00, and some others with unknown reputation for US$ 1099 ?

I think if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

You can also do a preliminary search for USA based companies (assuming you intend to buy there) at resellerratings.com, e.g. for B&H and Adorama .
