I have Adobe Dreamweaver CS3. Do I need to uninstall Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004, prior to installing Adobe Dreamweaver CS3? If so, how do I properly uninstall Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004?

No, You do not need to uninstall Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004. Infact, you could keep it installed and use it until you get comfortable with the newer version. If you do choose to uninstall, you simply drag the folder to the trash to delete.
