One of the mimes in front of Symphony Hall in Boston. She would stay perfectly motionless but relaxed for ten minutes, then change poses. I like the toes peeking out from under her gown.

"Motionless but relaxed" --- to me that typically means taking a nap not standing like a statue,, lol

Nice shot Doug. The brick background really works in this shot as well. Her makeup matches the concrete's color and her belt matches the bricks.

Hi Doug,

What a lucky find! How high up is she? My problem working on ledges and cliff edges is that several times I've totally forgotten how high up I was and moved the tripod over air! Not good!

The mime is excellently thought out. I wish she had a better flower and would hold the violin and bow properly. Still, this is a wonderful picture and very creative.

Note the feet do not have makeup. I'd copy the tones from her face, perhaps. What do you think?

Asher: She was about three feet off the ground. I shot hand-held at 800 ISO. There is a remarkable lack of noise with the d300. I shot at 1600 a little later and the shots were pretty much noiseless. Of course, I haven't enlarged them much.

I didn't notice that the toes doe not have makeup.

What do you mean by a better flower?

Just a minor niggle: the flower could be fuller and more open! I'd even consider using one of the nicer flowers from your other pictures.
