We don't have enough of such formal views. An excellent city street, the road blackened from tar, oil and shadow below the tall buildings.

The framing, which in most cases detracts, here, by contrast, provides a complementary setting for your photograph. The matte being off-white, makes the internal whites seem brighter. The black edge is modest and so merely isolates the area of the world reserved for this one photograph from distractions. Good job! Too often, frames are more important than the image.
