preparing to retire for the night, i got lucky to witness fireworks over the famous strait. Don't know
the occasion. grabbed my camera and high iso noise and slow handheld speeds be d****d grabbed
this shot.



The Famous Ataturk bridge connects two continents. An Istanbul icon, it must have been
photographed untold times. However, walking down the small fishing village of Cengenkoy, I captured
this scene of the small boy fishing along the Bosphorus on the asian side. you are looking across
the strait into europe...amazing, simple amazing ( for me at least ).

I've always wondered how people managed to swiftly get over to the eastern side when they needed to get out of the way of the police! Can you imagine waiting for a boat when the police are on your tail? I wonder if the crime rate was less on the European side? It explains why, perhaps the Sultan had his palace there.
