An absolutely fantastic shot.
Can you share how many shots you got around this single shot?

I wonder if I could have caught a similar shot with my 5D... or would it have been too slow? With only one visit a year to Yellowstone, I am always looking for more than grazing bears, which present less of a shooting problem than fast action like this. One reason I have been trying to figure out a way to afford a 1D version.

I actually had several shots on each side of this image, but actually rarely used a burst when I was in Alaska. Instead, I shot individual shots quickly.

Every once in a while I shot bursts - usually running bears..
