Here's a video I just found of the darker side of youtube - a drive-by shooting has been filmed.

Seriously ;-), in an attempt to reduce road-side litter, in the Netherlands you can find vertical hoops+nets at some traffic lights. They are regularly filled with beverage cans, thrown from cars while they're waiting (note to self; have to take an image of it).
In fact it takes some skill to throw a can fom the (left-hand side) driver seat into a net on the right-hand side of the road (which is part of the psychological trigger).
