Am guessing there are categories in the competition- if so which one is this in? I ask because this is very good, and not your average portrait.

Thank you. The competition seemed to not favor photography. I saw very few other images, while most seemed to be drawings or paintings.

Ironically, this was one of my very early pieces shot with a 5 mp point and shoot.
