Very nice if Nathalie don't mind the rain ... Frank, Are you using submarine strobes?

Just one thing: I would have placed a strobe in the back aimed towards the camera to get more of the rain drops to and have more dimensionality...

This implies and interesting narrative. They were on their way to a party. Car trouble. The man goes looking for help and disappears. Soon, two men with long dirty beards and a questionable number of toes arrive. A three toothed smile....

Hi Doug and Frank,

A good point to mention narrative in these pictures. It's an acceptable idea that art doe not need meaning or narrative and other associated concepts. However, a narrative is always intriguing can have social impact and be really entertaining.

Here the idea that this girl is somehow caught up in a wreck is presented as a tragedy of the "damsel in distress" scenario and works well. We know it's a setup but we are still moved by the energy of the contrast between beauty and destruction.

Well, the fact that the photo evokes narrative thinking, whether that was your intent or not, speaks for the photo's impact.
