One for the weekend

One shot from today for the weekend.

Inspirational! I really like the lighting - I find myself thinking new thoughts as I try to reverse-engineer the position of the lights.

There are three distinct shadows under her right thigh, correct? I love the control shown here.

Great shot Frank, beautiful!

According to my wife, Hanny, you should have shown the hands, that's the only remark we have.

Prettig weekend,

Cheers,

On the hands.
It depends, sometimes you have to show hands and sometimes it's not necessary.
You have to look at a shot as a whole, alot of people only look at the technical bits and often they "think" a RULE is to always show the hands.
Here I love the fact that one hand is NOT shown, it gives the photo a little bit of naughty glamour, you can see the arm and a part of one hand.

@Ian,
The large elinchrom octa and one strobe on the back.
Camera : RZ67ProII with Leaf Aptus22 and 180mm lens.

Hi Frank,

This my wife Hanny we are talking about here, she doesn't know zilch about any such photographic rules. She looked at the picture as a woman and said that the right hand would look better if it rested on her thigh. That's all.
