What a beautiful animal. Your approach is perfect. I like the tentative look he has as he senses your presence and maybe just put his head up to look at you.

They never know when such a look will be their last. For sure it is handsome. So are they happy, actually happy? I wonder if anyone knows? Dogs wag their tails and cats purr.

I like the way he/she is staring at you. Caution from birth I suppose.
The young look so much different from the adults.
I enjoyed the picture.
