I like the blurred bird, and in fact I think that works quite well. I find myself wishing the vegetation were sharper to provide contrast to the blurring of the wings.
 
Interesting photo, Dwayne. I do like the motion blur quite a lot.

I might selectively sharpen the head and eye to emphasize the contrast between the still head and the moving wings. Might also tweak curves/levels a bit to make it pop a little more.

I like this, Dwayne. I like the abstract nature of it, its a nice take.

Have you tried it in B&W, this'd work brilliantly, maybe even split-toned too?
