This is all I got -

I actually took it in my property (live in the mountains).

I was shooting fixed - probably my 300mm and was too close -

I love the look from the fawn, it's rare that I ever capture it when I see it because it is so fast..

wish I had got more...
 
Appreciate the added explanation, and figured you didn't have much choice in the composition. The expression on the fawn is so strong, though, that the strengths far outweigh the weaknesses in this photo.

The top of her head would have been almost too much. It would have just left me breathless.

Seriously, it would have been nice, but what an amazing shot as is!
