Interchangeable focusing screens for the 5D

Good Morning !

Have any of you replaced the standard focusing screen on the 5D with an interchangeable focusing screen?

If so, with which one and why?

Where do you see the benefit of using one or the other of the interchangeable ones
as your standard screen (Landscape, Macro, Travel)?

The SpeedGraphic Catalog (UK) lists 4 ED screens and 3 EE screens for the 5D.

I'm thinking of getting either the ED-D Matte + Grid or the EE-D or the EE-S.

Can anyone advice me as to which one? Should I get both the EE-D and the EE-S and test them myself?

Thank you in advance for your advice.

I have a Brightscreen focusing screen with a diagonal split center surrounded by a matt surface (which clears on focus) and lateral lines for framing 8x10 image format.

http://www.brightscreen.com/styles.html

The style is like screens 4 and 5 but with an oblique split screen.

I like the screen but have no way of comparing it with anyother screen as I ordered the camera from Brightscreen with it fitted.

I focus wide open my manual lenses then stop down.

If anyone has done a camparison of various focusing screeens, links and/summaries would be appreciated.

I replaced mine with the Ee-D screen. My primary reason was because I've added a TS-E lens--but I find it useful for all shots.

This might be a bit offtopic, but I have a question: how easy/ difficult is it to focus manually on offcenter subjects with the various focusing screens available?
