My eye is taken out of the picture because of the bold diagonal line entering directly from the bottom corner of the frame and exiting the top corner of the frame my eye does not linger in the image....

Thank you again for your kind words Fahim! Whether one shoots in Black and white or color one can't avoid the fact that a well composed image produces the strongest picture.
