I shot a high school football game in the Georgia Dome the other night. I used the 15mm f/2.8 fisheye a lot. Here are a few examples of why I like it so much for significant sports events, especially as a "people lens." These are all on 1.3x crop bodies.

These are wonderfully lively sports pictures. Why we don't use the fisheyes more escapes me. It also fits in well with a sense of community, pulling folk in. I find it wonderful for photographing dancing in weddings as it can include the entire dance floor and makes no pretenses for the architecture. Asher
