Magical!
Fahim, You could write a new Arabian Nights that would be spellbinding. Why not? Just maybe shift first portrait picture up and towards us a tad or push the next one down instead. Asher

This is an extraordinary metaphor, well executed. I just love it. No, you don't need to make it look as if the "narrator"'s image is actually repeated on successive pages. Best regards, Doug
