Hi,

Yes, Leica lenses are very expensive... but don't forget the huge used market ! I recently bought both Summicron 35 and 50 (last versions, 35 is aspherical) for less than 2000, they are in excellent state. At the moment, one could buy an used Summilux 35 Asph for less than 1500 when it costs more than 3500 brand new. Leica lenses are so good, it's easy to find very good used ones for good prices.

Regards,

Cedric.
