Well, Peter, I do like this handsome bird!

Is this part of the local’s diet or that is forbidden! Looks like it would be tasty. Do they fly a lot and migrate or are they local. The latter tend to be be juicier!

Juicier yes no doubt. Well it is endemic and considered to be declining in it's range so hopefully they're not getting shot at. Don't fly much and not migratory.

Maggie they get airborne fairly easily but never get higher than treetops. They spend a lot of time maneuvering through tree branches as they feed. Maybe the long tail helps.
