Tim, three superb shots. Well done, and thanks for bringing them to us.

They look a little muted on my screen, to the extent that I wonder if you failed to convert them to sRGB when you produced the web versions? They're fantastic shots, but to my eye they cry out for a little more "pop" in the colors/contrast.

Thanks. It's a MK II N with 400/2.8 IS, think abt 1/500s f/2.8~f/4 or so.

Tim,

This is a particularly tough contact sport! Is this really well-mannered or do they develop open rage with real fights?

In the U.K., this was the higher form of footaball until soccer became such a world sweeping phenomenon.
