That is really nice. I like spontaneous gestures like this.

I got two fellows catching up in a farmers’ market But new we got another like that.i see much more Co raderie in the various images from South America!

We are far too frozen and formal here in the USA. Folk stand at a greater distance from each other in casual conversation.

In England a fellow would put his arm on another fellows shoulder to chat. One Sikh doctor from India did that to a technician he was catching up with and was accused of making sexual advances and in need of therapy! My son’s father-in-law is from Argentina and his mouth is within 8” of mine and I feel the sea spray as he explains some math formula.... at length!

I would rather have someone being in my space, too close than coldness!

In Colombia the only place where people will stand back and give you space is at an ATM machine. Otherwise they crowd each other and no one minds.
