Actually the picture makes a great lesson for all of us!

We don't need to see all of the subject, out brains thrive on intrigue as to what's coming next and then builds on what we see to work out what's not there.

The lighting is alive. We have illumination from the upper left making some leaves translucent and putting ill of shadows on the lower right. The texture of the leaves is revealed sufficiently but nowhere are they over exposed.

The repeated layers of petals remind us of billowing clouds, thundering water and swishing fabric around beautiful women!
