  • Plants of the Pacific Northwest Coast - Pojar & MacKinnon
  • Seashore Life of the Norther Pacific Coast - Eugene N. Kozloff
  • Intertidal Invertebrates of the Salish Sea and the Pacific Northwest Coast (2 laminated sheets with color photos as a field guide.

The only other books on the shelf that get regularly referenced are programming and math texts plus a few gardening books about cultivated (rather than native) species.
