If you follow the links from there, the dazzle painting, etc., it reminds me of the magician who was hired, and who, in ww2, made the Suez canal disappear.

Thew link is fascinating. Too fascinating!

I was distracted for 30 minutes reading about the French contributions to early color imaging. Kodachrome and Agfacolor wiped them out. Still the glass slides appear to be very beautiful.
