Take a ribeye steak and massage with olive oil and some black pepper. Heat the pan as much as you can and sear the steak for a few minutes on both sides. Add a knob of butter and flame with a glug of whiskey.

Simply serve with some chips (fries?), peas and a tomato fried in the pan juices.

.......... but how did you make the French Fries, (AKA chips)? Why no glsitening?

A "flambé" cannot be overdone, it's always "underdone" or "perfect". There is no other rating acceptable....

Yes, it's showing off in the kitchen, so what? :)
