Sixth Annual Photography & Fine Art Printing Summit Organized by Alain Briot & Uwe Steinmueller, Guest presenter: Tony Sweet

The Summit! Some of you know that I'm opinionated for or against different workshops or seminars! Well this is one unique experience that you will enjoy and get a lot out of.

This Summit, a joint event by Uwe Steinmueller and Alain Briot has been a yearly workshop with also guided shooting opportunities. There has been a considerable evolution of the workshop from mostly teaching followed by an opportunity to participate in a guided field trip with Alain as instructor to a rich integrated workshop with preparation, shooting, processing and printing. There is a broader team approach to instruction. All the photographers are, of course adept in the modern imaging software choices and expertise. Both Alain and Uwe excel at printing. In fact they may be called obsessed. So from start to finish there will be stimulation, guidance, shortcuts and more. Certainly you will come back with some fine prints of your photography there or files if you choose to bring that too!

Photographic Field Vision Workshop: Immediately after the Summit, Alain and Natalie Briot offer a three-day Photographic Field Vision Workshop to the Escalante-Grand Staircase area on Tuesday, November 11th, Wednesday Nov. 12th and Thursday Nov. 13th

This field workshop is designed to build and expand upon the concepts taught during the Summit by exploring the concepts of Creativity on Tuesday and then studying what it means to “be an Artist” and how to get started on a personal project on Wednesday and Thursday.

For details see the Summit Site here.
