Attachments and planned upgrade Thurs/Fri with server downtime!

In upgrading our forum software some weeks ago, we developed changes that were not planned! That allowed several user groups became able to add attachments to posts which in turn can waste disk storage space on the server of which we have none to spare! (A lot of free space is required for disk caching by vBulletin to handle a busy week or two).

As a result, Sean DeMerchant has disabled the ability to add attachments for all user groups unless he missed one by accident!

Down the road, we'll be likely hosting all OPF images, but not just yet!

This thursday or friday we'll be off line for a bunch of hours to upgrade our software to the next level of functionality.

What is a user group?

At least one moderator I know of! But that now it's history! LOL!

- moderators
