We were watching TV last night and there was a long advert on for Chanel No5 perfume. The story line ended with the lady taking aphoto of a boat pulling away across the bay and zooming into the screen to see 'her' man in the picture. The camera, a Leica M9 of course.

Leica works hard to carefully pepper placements in "high-end" market ads.

Although I've not seen the ad, your description suggests that the unintended joke might actually be that nobody's "zooming" on any subject with any Leica rangefinder camera (primes only).

For that you need a Leica DLux-4 <g>

Hi Ken

The zoom was on the lcd after taking the shot, though the wait may not have been quite long enough:)

Good placement, though not sure how many people will notice.
