Want to get started at fashion photography or improve your existing skills?
How about doing this while on an island holiday in the heart of the Mediterranean sea?
British photographer Julian Knight has just the right solution. Back in the UK, Julian
shot and art directed campaigns for major retailers and designer brands such as
Manish Arora, Mayhem and Vision Express with photographs gracing billboards on
Oxford Street, and became a masterclass contributor to some of the UK premier
photography magazines. Now in Malta, he is sharing his mastery with photography
enthusiasts of any level. With 15 years of experience, Julian knows what magazine
editors and advertising agencies want.

Malta offers breathtaking locations already made famous by some of the Hollywood's
biggest blockbusters including Troy, Gladiator, The Da Vinci code and Casino Royale.
Ancient cities, temples, cliffs, lagoons, classic beaches - there is no shortage of
scenic backdrops here. Combined with all-year-round sunshine, the Maltese islands are
a perfect spot to kick off or improve your photography portfolio.

The participants of the workshops stay in a traditional Mediterranean villa/farmhouse
with a private pool and enjoy a slow-paced relaxing holiday, not to mention BBQ nights
under the starry skies. Photo shoots take place daily at the villa or on location and
the photographers get to learn in practice all aspects of model photography from setting
up and directing a professional shoot to choosing the best image and even post processing.

This holiday focuses on as much of the creative side of fashion and location photography
as it does on breaking into the business and reaching industry standards. The holiday is
designed to take the mystery out of commercial success and empower the participants
with new perspectives and skills. The participants leave with a strong portfolio that is
worthy of the attention of magazine editors and advertising agencies.

The first event of this year starts on the 8th June. The events will run twice a month all year
round - summer spaces are running out fast, be sure to book yours!

Find all the Photography Holiday Event information here.

Several competitions are running as well, so be sure to check out the "Competitions" page for
a chance to return later in the year on the house!
