Ankor Wat - Disney land for photographers?

Despited the large size, this picture works! The fact that one has to scroll, helps convey the enormity of the roots that spread over and into the architecture of Ankor Wat!

A good stimulus for an eclectic collection of images to follow!

Not Angor Wat. But another UNESCO world heritage site.

These immense structures remnants of complexes past civilizations and art that has survived them. The selection is not curated. The decisions are made by the passage of time.

The photographer takes the critical steps. Positioning themselves at the right time of day and then presenting the result in an interesting way. Thanks Fahim for adding your contribution. The beads in the second picture connect the present with a distant past.

This one, Fahim, is especially sublime as nature seems to have respect for this godess! What a gracious work and amazing tolerance of nature in framing it and not destroying it.
