Perfect is the enemy of the best art. There mist be cracks to "let the light in" as Leonard Cohen used to sing.

I really like the way the flower is drawn.

It has definition but also subtle softness and is not either brash noir clinically sharp. I would call this a spring portrait and its quite feminine and relaxing.


The extra indistinct pink blur in the lower left gives balance and makes the picture. It has enough character and imperfection to be worth revisiting every day on my wall!
