Landscape - Mirror, Mirror

Fahim's Contrail photo, which I like but failed to comment in the appropriate thread, made me remember a photo I took a little more than one year ago. There are also contrails involved, but to make visible what I saw immediately, I had to mirror the picture horizontally.

Here is the result:

My question now: Is this common practice or would you call it cheating (I feel a little like this)?

I see no issue, You are not documenting for a Reuters or Associated Press newswire or forensic report. The idea is to show what you imagine and feel not just what the camera points to.

It would, BTW, just for the sake of my silly interest, be fun to see the cameras effort in this.
