Studio, Portrait, Still Life, Lighting Equipment and Technique Continuous and Strobe Lighting. (The Sun is considered continuous!) Great ideas are really ten a penny! Technique in setting up the subject is, of course, essential. However, the ability to bring out form, texture, tonality and color is where the skill in lighting provides all the keys to engraving one's ideas on the delivered picture.

Nice shot Gordon !

It is in silver, isn't it ? How old is it ? Mid or late XIX century I presume...

Presumably that’s in a waistcoat and the chain is much longer!

I would love to also see a picture of this bespoke quality with more of that chain or in a hand!

Beautifully shot, Gordon. I would have thought a modern interpretation of a vintage watch as the peek-a-boo front center doesn't seem something that was done back when. If it truly is old, then I apologize and have to say that it is in impeccable condition. :-) Maggie
