Lunar Eclipse Feb 20th-21st

thanks for the reminder colleen! last august the night was perfect, but of course the east coast wasn't getting the full eclipse because sunrise occurred in the middle of it :( i did manage to do a time lapse over my harbor with the moon going down as the shadow came over it, with the early glimmers of dawn, which came out pretty well. still, it was only half an eclipse. the timing of this one looks great, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed for the weather!

Someone linked this on DPReview:
http://www.kodak.com/global/en/consumer/products/techInfo/p150/p150c.shtml

It's a guide from Kodak on photographing lunar eclipses. It was written for film and is probably too basic for most of y'all but I've never mucked around with astrophotography so I found it interesting. If you go up to the contents using the link at the bottom of the page it has information on other topics like solar eclipses and sky mapping.
