The software is apparently well written and powerful to be used for preparing and organizing event photography

Jack Hartzman is really so experienced in using this software and all you need is a laptop, PC or I gues a Powerbook Pro.
Michael Tapes is particularly knwledgable at setting up such systems.
We have a few others here with similar experience.
I have no idea how it compares to PS!
It seems to me it is also an image delivery system too, understanding you need workflow for the image to be able to get it to a customer!
