Jerome,

This is a most pleasant and treasurable image that's really worth printing and the wall space, if just for the calm mood and bucolic beauty it provides.

But it brings much, much more. In spite of being "factive", (not made up or made "pretty" by post processing tricks), it's also "fictive", allowing for the mind to wander in a safe place, an "exporatorium" so to speak, far better than any abstraction I know of. In fact, I've seen gallery pictures taken of analogous beach scenes, aggressively delivering ultra-wide and compressed stripes of tarmac, beach sand, foamy surf, water and sky in a way that announces, "abstract art" in a loud voice. Here, you achieve far more success with the subtle but gentle truth of this far softer panorama.

The extra elements of the two masters of ceremony, the prominent tree and white tower, in the center, for me, at least, bring the photograph to gallery standards.

Thanks for starting of my day with such an impressive work. Kudos!:)

Asher

BTW, a picture like this would benefit from also being posted in a more compact form, to allow viewing the entire image on smaller screens without scrolling.
