What do photographers think about combining expert learning opportunities with helping the community? I guess your answers.
I think then you should know of the Photoshop Soup 2 Nuts Conference.

This very exceptional meeting is worthwhile to go to since there are some of the best photoshop experts and teachers on the planet and it also supports and showcases the bringing of photography to community issues.
I'm especially interested that Ruth Knoll, yes Thomas's wife, has devoted herself to supporting this effort.
"The Photoshop Soup2Nuts Conference is a two day learning conference encompassing the entire genre of digital imaging workflow. It is produced by volunteers, corporations, and educators passionate about the mission of the event. "
So anyone else have similar projects they are involved in?
This seems like a "win win" idea.
