Perhaps yes...

The one on the right was a concrete truck driver - before retirement - while the other worked as brick worker.

They had difficult and hard lives, indeed. They do not know English or French and have - must probably - never gone out of their country...

Even speaking Portuguese they use common terms and make errors on grammar...
