A couple of Lightroom Questions

Basic Stuff, looked but couldn't find an answer.

1. Where can you set lightroom so that everytime you insert a card, Lightroom will not open. I found where you can tell Lightroom not to open up the import screen, but not where you can tell the program not to open each time. Windows XP is the OS.

2. Does Adobe allow a license of Lightroom to be installed on more than one machine like they do CS (up to 2 machines)?

thanks

here's what was stated at the Adobe-LR-forum:

"You are allowed to run two copies of LR which can be crossplatform, as many have a laptop different than their main machine."

Using the Control Panel
Click on Folder Options
On the tabs at the top click on "File Types"
Scroll down the list of file types - jpg for example will show you what program to automatically open when you inset the card. At the bottom you will see a button "Change"
Click on Change and a list of programs to always use when you have that kind of file open. Slect the program you want to use. You will want to do this for TIFF, JPG and RAW files ,,,,,
