When Adobe first brought out the sucessor to the ACR 4.0 it had an absolutely horrible amount of default noise removal built in specific to high iso's. To the extent that they generated a huge amount of complaints and I personally rolled back to 4.0 and haven't moved from there since.
I heard that they had toned it down in the next version as a result of the bad feedback but now as we approach 4.4.1, does anyone know if the noise removal/smoothing defaults are back to as low as the original 4.0 was?
I'm not upgrading otherwise....
