Well, Fahim,

That must make Zeiss and Cosina so happy as their own lenses will be made even more worthwhile. The high prices of these undoubtedly amazing lenses will only help Zeiss with their own more modest but still high price price structure as photographers already appreciate Zeiss lenses for the M8. Certainly, Zeiss could beat them hands down in price and value, for each of those lenses except the Noctilux and the 1200mm lenses which are just prestige items.

Of course, the Zeiss lenses will have Zeiss characteristics of writing the image, but that's fine by me.

lenses with floating elements by zeiss are currently almost prices the same as leica. the zm sonnar 85( 80? ) f2 for example.
